These are conversation courses for those who want to talk and learn about topics that are of particular interest to them.
These are very communicative courses where you can exchange ideas, experiences and information. We bring groups of 3 to 8 people.
Enjoy learning
We learn more when we work on a subject that is of particular interest to us. We all have a greater tendency to retain the things we are most attracted to. For example, if I am interested in gastronomy, a course on this subject will help me to learn the vocabulary in a fun and enjoyable way, and I will internalise the grammatical structures without even realising it.
It is impossible not to talk about Spanish food, because we all like to eat and we all like tapas, the idea of socialising while eating in an informal way. But Spaniards don't just eat tapas, which are generally also an aperitif, nor do we ever eat paella, which is a dish we only eat at lunchtime. We will debunk myths and learn about many table customs and the richness of Spanish cuisine and its regional diversity. - Start at the end of an A2

We have all heard of Cervantes or Gabriel García Márquez. It is not about reading any of the works of these or others authors , which are also very difficult for Spanish speakers, but to talk about literature, to get to know key works, to exchange ideas about reading Spanish-speaking authors, talking about experiences with literature in Spanish, or to compare it with literature in other languages. Literature is a universal subject and it is a pleasure to talk about it in Spanish.
Two possible courses:
Essential Works of Spanish Literature. We will talk about essential authors, key works and important periods, with some examples of texts - End of B1 / B2 level.

This is a conversation course in which we will be able to exchange information and find out what to see next, so that we can continue to enjoy cinema and Spanish in the audiovisual world. - End of B1 / Level B2

How not to use songs when learning Spanish. One song in the gerund, another in the subjunctive... Anything is possible. As well as learning the Spanish cultural anthems, the songs that every Spaniard would sing at a party and that we all know (whether we like them or not, because that's not the point), we will talk about the songs of a certain era, of certain generations, our musical heritage and what we listen to today. Because there is nothing more magical than music and its universal power - Level B1 / Level B2

There is wonderful graphic humour in the Spanish-speaking world. From Argentina we have the famous Mafalda, a character created by Quino in the 1960s but still very much alive, or other contemporary Argentine cartoonists such as the poetic Liniers or the acerbic Maitena. In Spain, we had Forges as the genius who best captured the Spanish idiosyncrasy, but there are other very important ones, such as El Roto, with his sarcasm and harshness, or Peridis, a portraitist of current political events for decades. And we, the children of the 70s and 80s, grew up reading the entire output of Francisco Ibáñez and his caricatured characters.
